Highland Park High School vs. Monterrey Tec

The Highland Park High School varsity football team won their first home game of the season against Monterrey Tec by a score of 46-7 on Friday night at Highlander Stadium.

Scots quarterback Brady Burgin completed 17-of-22 passing attempts for 190 yards and two touchdowns.

Preston Miller, a running back for Highland Park, had four touchdowns and ran for 138 yards.

The Scots beat the Everman Bulldogs last weekend 48-28 during their season opener at SMU's Ford Stadium. Their next game is against Sherman at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Highlander Stadium.
