Park Cities residents can now support a Highland Park High School sports program and keep their thirst quenched at the same time.

The Lady Scots golf team is selling Tervis Tumblers that feature the school's flag as a fundraiser this year.

The team is selling two sizes of the cup and offering special deals for buying in bulk: Sixteen-ounce Tumblers can be purchased individually for $16 or in a pack of four for $60, and 24-ounce Tumblers can be purchased individually for $20 or in a pack of four for $75.

Anyone who is interested in supporting the team and showing their school spirit by purchasing a Tumbler can contact Coach Eric Cunningham at cunnine@hpisd.org or Debbie Williams at dkwilliams58@hotmail.com to place an order.

The girl's golf team is comprised of 16 members, and its season begins on Sept. 19 at a tournament that is being hosted at the Indian Creek Golf Club in Carrollton.

The HPHS girl's golf program is no stranger to success, having won the 4A State Championship in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2008. The team made it to the state tournament last year and has high hopes again for this season.
