Three prominent photographers from Dallas will be showcasing their work next week at a church in Uptown.

The Church of the Incarnation is hosting a photographic gallery event titled "Gather" that will be open to the public at 8 p.m. on Sept. 6 in the church's Memorial Chapel.

Local photographers Lauren Larsen, Andrew Shepherd and Shaun Menary will be featuring and selling their work at the event.

Attendees are suggested to donate $5 during the event. The church will give a portion of the proceeds to the Dick Granger Neighborhood Initiative, which provides financial assistance to families in need.

One of the reasons the Church of the Incarnation is hosting this event is to help develop the culture of the neighborhood while serving the residents of the community.
