First Place Winner Taylor Foster
The Highland Belles will be hosting its only fundraiser of the school year on Friday.
The drill team's Spaghetti Supper and Auction Fundraiser will be hosted at 5 p.m. Sept. 2 in the Highland Park High School cafetorium.
Every member of the drill team was required to help with the fundraiser by selling dinner and raffle tickets and underwriting donations. This year, the team has set a new fundraising record.
The three members of the Highland Belles who have made the most fundraising sales are being recognized as the Spaghetti Supper Prize Winners. The first place winner is Taylor Foster, the second place winner is Angela Orsini and the third place winner is Caroline Armistead.
At the fundraiser event, Amore Italian Restaurant will be catering the dinner, and the auction will have more than 400 items to bid on, including luxury hotel stays, autographed sports memorabilia, and jewelry.
If you are just now hearing about the fundraiser event, it is not too late for you to attend. Tickets for the event will be sold at the door tomorrow from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the entire community is encouraged to come support the Highland Belles.
