The Highland Park High School Lady Scots officially kicked off the basketball season with a scrimmage against Richardson Berkner on Oct. 29 at Highlander Field House, but no score was kept during the matchup.
The public is invited to "Meet the Scots" boys and girls basketball teams and watch a scrimmage at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 1 at Highland Park High School.
