Football season is right around the corner, and fans of the Highland Park High School Scots football team are going to have an opportunity this month to bid on seats at Highlander Stadium to cheer on the school.

A silent auction is being hosted for one set of four reserved seats to every home varsity football game of the 2011 season. The auction will occur from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 19 at Highlander Stadium.

The blue back chairs being auctioned are in Section C, Row 16, Seats 11-14.

All of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the HPHS Junior-Senior Prom.

An announcement will be made at an HPHS pep rally on Aug. 26 about who won the seats, but the winner does not need to be present at the event.
