The Children's Medical Center of Dallas is hosting two informational events next month about food allergies that are open to the general public.

Food Allergy Center Panel Discussion (Aug. 13): A panel of five experts will discuss some of the best practices for parents when sending their children with food allergies back to school.

The event is being hosted in Richardson from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Dallas Room of the Region 10 Educational Service Center, located at 400 E. Spring Valley Rd.

Children's Food Allergy Cooking Class (Aug. 25): Learn how to prepare tasty, allergy-free lunches and snacks for your child. Enjoy fun cooking demonstrations and delicious tasting.

The event is being hosted in Dallas from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Whole Foods Market Preston Forest, located at 11700 Preston Road #714. Make sure to RSVP by email to FoodAllergy@childrens.com by Aug. 18 if you would like to attend.
