The Lady Scots varsity basketball team was able to rebound after its tough loss on Tuesday and beat the Lady Bulldogs of McKinney North by a score of 56-44 last night at Highland Park High School.

During the game, Highland Park had a balanced offensive attack with Libby Ethington and Kaitlyn Read scoring 12 points each, Courtney Klingaman scoring 11 points, and Sydney McDaniel and Amanda Goodwin scoring eight points each.

Highland Park now has a 15-5 record for the season and a 3-2 record in district games. The Lady Scots will be playing the Rockwall Heath Lady Hawks next at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rockwall Heath High School.
