It's a huge event for the whole family.  You've ordered the flowers, reserved the reception site, scheduled the ceremony.   And of course, you want to ensure that the bride and groom, as well as family and friends, arrive in style!

Premier has been providing wedding event transportation for more than a decade, and we'd like to share with you our best practices for ensuring the perfect transportation solutions for you.

Prepare Your Calendar

  • Plan to reserve your wedding event transportation at least three months in advance.
  • This will ensure vehicle availability and lock in pricing.
  • Of course, if you are closer to your wedding date now, call as soon as possible!

Determine Your Needs

  • The transportation needs for your event will be based on the number of people, the locations, the timing between ceremony and reception, etc., plus any special needs like airport pickups, guest/family age groups, special assistance for physically challenged loved ones, and many other factors.
  • Choose a vendor who can offer the full range of vehicles to meet your needs, from Sedans to Limousines to Party Buses to large Coach Buses.

Research Your Options

  • Gather information on your vendor candidates through sources like the Better Business Bureau, to ensure they are well established and reputable.
  • See if the transportation company has testimonials from other wedding clients, either on their website or in another form.
  • Inspect the vehicles yourself to ensure they are clean and well maintained.

Ask Questions

  • Ask about any available discounts or specials, as well as policies on deposits.
  • Be sure the quotes include all additional fees, like gratuity, fuel surcharges, tolls, etc. to avoid surprises.
  • Make your vendor decision based on their fleet and their reputation, not just the lowest price.

Make Your Reservations

  • Once you book your reservation, be sure to review your confirmation for accuracy, and be aware of any penalties for changes or cancellations.

Consider All Your Wedding Activities

  • Your wedding event may also include Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, showers, airport transfers, and other activities requiring transportation.
  • Consult your transportation provider about vehicle options for these other events, too.

Cover All Your Locations

  • Find out if your local transportation vendor can provide transportation in other areas of the country and/or the world.
  • Make sure the vendor does business with certified and reputable affiliates to provide national and global coverage.
  • Ideally, you will be able to reserve all your vehicles and make payment arrangements with only one vendor, no matter where your wedding events take place.

Premier would love to help with your wedding plans.  And, we are pleased to offer a number of special discounts to our wedding clients.  Call us today to let us help make your wedding a truly wonderful experience for you and your families!
