2008 HONDA FIT FOR SALE 13K MILES; $12,500

2008  HONDA FIT FOR SALE 13K MI; $12,500

My son has spent the last few months in Berlin, Germany, and about July 1st will be moving to New York City.  He has made the sensible (but sad) decision to sell his almost new, sparkly bright, shiny, fun and spiffy 2008 Honda Fit.  He has driven it for about a year, and for a few of those months it has resided in our garage with occasional trips to the grocery store to keep it happy.

This is an ideal car for a student or young adult - it has good safety ratings, excellent gas mileage, good cargo area,  and is sporty to boot. You can fold the seats up and down in an amazing variety of ways and hold bicycles, boxes, furniture, or a semester's worth of stuff. My son has installed an ipod connection (shown in one of the photos) so it comes equipped with a way to play your MP3s.

It has just under 13,000 miles on it right now, and he is asking $12,500.  My son's description of it's history in an email to a prospective buyer:

It's a 2008 Base model, with I believe around 13k miles. I'll get the exact mileage from my parents today. It runs great, and while I've been out of the country, my parents have been taking it out once a week just to keep it in good shape.

It has power locks, windows, GREAT air conditioning, and a pretty decent stereo (factory), that I've added an iPod adapter to. If you have an iPhone 3G, you need to use a power adapter as well, but any other ipod you can just plug in, and even skip tracks using the CD player!

As far as the history of the car:

- Purchased from Classic Honda in Round Rock  in March 2008. It has the standard warranty, which is I believe 5 years?
- During the huge hailstorm last year, it got nice and dinged up, but was repaired at Roger Beasley Automotive.
- A few weeks before that, someone had backed into the drivers side door, going sub-parking lot speeds. This was repaired at the same time at Roger Beasley Automotive.
- Since then, it was parked outside, so has some general wear, i.e. a small scrape on the bumper from a curb, etc.
- I LOVE this car, but am moving to New York where I won't need it, so it just doesn't make sense to hold on to it
- I currently still have a loan out on it, so depending on how you're planning on financing it, it may take a bit of finagling with the title, but we're not the first people to do this sort of thing!

(I've spoken with Honda financing and they say basically that the seller's lender contacts them and they work it all out)

The 2009 Model was U.S. News and World Reports # 1 pick of the year for affordable small cars.  The following link is their review of the 2008 Fit.

I have pictures which can be sent to you showing all angles and the interior.  The two closeups show two small scrapes which are not very noticable but I think should be pointed out in the name of full disclosure.  It has a clean interior and is just a great car all around.  I know someone will be happy to have it.

You can email me at jennifervestalATgmailDOTcom  or call at 214-363-6454 and I can send on an email with multiple pictures., and get any other information you might need.

Thanks!
