Taverna Rossa ~ Craft Pizza & Beer is now open at the brand new Park Village Shopping Center in Southlake. The 4,200 square foot restaurant includes a 1,500 square foot, year-round patio with outdoor fire place and indoor stage which features live, local music every Saturday night beginning at 9:30pm.
Specializing in rustic thin-crust pizzas baked in a stone-fired oven and Texas influenced Italian dishes including salads, pastas, and sandwiches. Taverna Rossa settles for nothing less than homemade goodness in all dishes. Menu favorites include Ma’s Homemade Meatballs, TX Lasagna made with Lakewood Temptress stout slow-braised brisket and popular pies such as the Local Goat and Fig, Smokey Pie, and The Bee’s Knees prepared with homemade dough and all-natural sauce. Taverna Rossa sources locally whenever possible and includes Lemley’s tomatoes, Hamm’s Meat Market, Luscher’s Italian Sausage amongst other artisans on the menu.
Over 50 varieties of bourbons and whiskey are offered as well as 30 rotating craft beers, handcrafted cocktails and wines available by the glass or bottle.
Taverna Rossa offers Happy Hour Monday through Friday from 3pm-7pm with $2 off select drafts, $4 wells, $5 house wine and $8 signature cocktails including the Rossa Mule, Rossarita and the Award Winning Bloody Mary. Additional specials include Tuesday Ladies Night with 1/2 price glasses and bottles of wine, Whiskey Wednesday with $8 Rossa Mules and featured a different whiskey every week, and Texas Thursday offers $2 off Texas made liquors and drafts. Late night Hoppy Hour on Friday and Saturday begins at 9pm and includes Happy Hour drink specials along with $5 Ma’s Homemade Meatballs and Killer TX Sausage Queso.
Sunday brunch (10:30am-2pm) aka ‘Sunday Funday' features 13” breakfast pizzas and hangover specials in addition to the regular menu along with $5 Spicy Bloody Rossa, Rossa Mimosas and Rossa Bellinis all-day.
