CiboDivino Marketplace and Caffe in Oak Cliff’s Sylvan Thirty is now open. The 4,400 square foot space designed by Ron Guest includes an additional 2,200 square-foot wrap-around allows ample patio and lawn space for outdoor picnicking. Marble countertops, farm tables, cement floors; corrugated glass awnings and refurbished wood elements give the eatery a refurbished farmhouse atmosphere.
Owned and operated by Chef Daniele and Christina Puleo, the marketplace features cases of prepared Italian foods including Panini sandwiches, handmade pastas, assorted salads, appetizers, entrees and desserts, charcuterie and cheese trays as well as private label legumes, olive oils, vinegars, olives, sauces, sea salts, fresh cut flowers and retail gifts.
Made-to-order Neapolitan pizzas from the glittering gold wood-fire pizza oven also will be available for pick-up and dine-in with delivery coming soon.
Also wine experts, Christina and Daniele’s passion for Californian and Italian wines is evident in the collection of close to 350 hand-selected labels from the regions, available to sip at the large wine bar, or to grab and go as well as 12 local craft beer draughts including Lakewood Brewing Co., Rahr and Sons and Community Brewing Co. Lavazza Italian Coffee at the full-service coffee bar accompanies freshly baked pastries.
CiboDivino will offer wine and cheese tastings every Saturday, host guest wine makers and feature cooking classes as well as other events.
Chef/managing partner Ryan Olmos, most recently executive chef at Eatzi’s and Urban Rio will oversee every day operations including prepared foods and specialty products.
Chef Daniele Puleo who reigns from Sicily, Italy is the former chef/owner of Daniele Osteria in Oak Lawn and Inzo Italian Kitchen in Roanoke and Fort Worth.
