Haystack Burgers and Barley Now Open in Turtle Creek Village

Haystack Burgers and Barley is now open in Turtle Creek Village (3838 Oak Lawn Ave Suite #175). This is the second outpost of the popular eatery from Jenny and Kevin Galvan which debuted the original Haystack in their Richardson neighborhood in 2013.

The fast casual concept serves eight signature Angus burgers with various toppings including jalapeño escabeche, grilled poblanos and house made chili as well as hearty salads, sandwiches, fresh cut Kennebec fries, Haystack onions, fried jalapeños and more.   Sweet selections showcase milk shakes (Nutella, Oreo, Banana Pudding, Chocolate and Vanilla) and the popular ‘Nana Pudding (a Galvan family recipe). Vegetarian fare, a children’s menu and an off-the-menu specials are also available.

Bar offerings include 12 hyperlocal draft beers poured from custom designed copper taps and over 50 American craft beer styles in addition to The Haymaker, a signature frozen cocktail with Maker’s Mark, orange juice, lemonade and custom blended ice tea.

The Galvan's have a long history in the restaurant business and also the restaurant landscape in the Dallas area.  Kevin is the fourth generation of restaurant owners in his family. Kevin and Jenny owned and operated Ricardos's Tex Mex in Allen for five years. Some of the family recipes can be found on the menus at Haystack.

The new location offers more than 3,000 square feet interior space with bar and an outdoor patio opening this spring.  A family affair, daughters Kallie and Lindsey have influenced and inspired menu selections as well as decor choices including the whimsical mounted wooden farm animals and frames.

Haystack Burgers and Barley is located at 3838 Oak Lawn Avenue #175 at Blackburn in Turtle Creek Village.   Open seven days a week, hours of operation are 10:30am-10:00pm.  For more information go to www.haystackburgers.com or call 214-377-7802.
