Park Cities Historic and Preservation Society Presents $12,000 to Dallas Heritage Village

The Park Cities Historic and Preservation Society (PCHPS) recently presented a check for $12,000 to Melissa Prycer, executive director of Dallas Heritage Village, for continued renovations of the Costello House, also known as the Park Cities Historic House, located in Dallas Heritage Village.     

Kendall Jennings,  president, PCHPS announces  Taste • Tour • Explore, three fabulous events this spring: James Farmer, nationally renowned garden, floral and interior designer and author will speak at the Distinguished Speaker Luncheon on Wednesday, March 29, chaired by Liz Farley. The Historic Home Tour features four fabulous homes on Saturday, April 1, chaired by Tish Key and the Classic and Antique Car Show happens on Saturday, April 8, chaired by Dan McKeithen. PCHPS mission is to preserve and promote the history, architecture, aesthetics and cultural traditions of the Park Cities. Proceeds of the 2017 Luncheon will be used to help preserve and maintain the Park Cities House at Dallas Heritage Village, support the new PCHPS archives at the University Park Library, fund the Society’s landmarking initiatives and award scholarships to Highland Park High School graduating seniors planning to study architecture, history or preservation.
