The New York Times said this of her dancing\, “the dancer So l\, La Argentinita\, harnessed the art form’s power with her seductively a ggressive soleá in which her elegant carriage provided space for tension a nd relief.” Joining Ms. Koeraus on the stage will be Mariano Manzella\, Lu ckie “Abejorro\,” Julia Alcántara\, producer and dancer\, and members of t he Flamenco Fever Dance Academy. \nThe Spring Flamenco Residency includes the 7th annual Flamenco de Mayo providing low-cost performances for festi vals\, restaurants\, and schools that want to celebrate Hispanic culture a round Cinco de Mayo. \nThe Spring Flamenco Residency culminates with Paell a y Pasion on Sunday\, May 29\, 2022\, featuring live flamenco performance s\, flamenco costumes and accessories market\, and giant paella cooked on- site.
