A jury found the Episcopal School of Dallas grossly negligent in a lawsuit involving a former student who had a relationship with a teacher while she was underage. The jury awarded the student's family more than $9 million in damages. Do you think the jury was correct in its verdict? Is there anything that ESD should have done differently in the situation? What kind of impact do you think this is going to have on the school?

We all remember the tragedy that took place 10 years ago. It was the moment of terror that shook America to its core. The attacks on September 11th will live with us forever and will continue to be talked throughout the rest of history.

As the 10th anniversary of 9/11 approaches us on Sunday we ask our community some questions. Where were you that day? How did you learn about the attacks? How has it impacted your life? Some of us were on our way to school, while others were at work. We encourage the community to share their stories as we all come together to honor the people who passed that day, the people who risked their lives to save the individuals in danger and to the men and women who have fought and continue fighting for our safety and freedom.

As this anniversary comes this Sunday let’s take a moment to share our stories and remember the day that changed America forever.

Looking for persons that had to deal with this nuisance weed. When not planted responsibly, this thing is a disaster. Obviously in our case not planted responsibly, without root barrier, invading our property (but planted in neighbor'syard). Neighbor is NOT ready to do anything not even keep it trimmed ! Any help greatly appreciated. Thks.

Rumor about new drill studio?

Really i am not an eavesdropper but waiting for a table at the MICO bar icould not help but overhear the animated conversation the 2 women squeezed up next to me were having. Of course, anything dance related i am all ears. What i gathered is Park Cities Dance is adding a drill team program headed by some women from powerhouse and nextstep. My 2 younger girls go to Park Cities dance so when i was dropping them off i noticed the old blockbuster space below PCD is being remodeled into dance studios. Just curious if anyone knows what is going on.

Was the Pk Cities People decision to keep Merritt right?

I read the article about Ms. Patterson in the Park Cities People and I was floored. Foremost, Merritt Patterson didn't apologize. Not in the least. There wasn't a hint of apology to the potential mothers or the egg donors whose money she took. Perhaps not surprisingly, her editor and the staff person who wrote the article failed to consider that as well. I vote goodbye to Merritt - at least for a long time. This is a repugnant episode made worse by her and the Park Cities People's reaction to it.

Will the Park Cities News do the right thing about Merritt Patterson???

The Park Cities News initial response was to take Brett Shipp to task for blindsiding Merritt and for not naming sources.
