I remember getting ready for school and hearing it on the news. I was only in 8th grade so hearing the trade center was struck by a plane I thought it was just the city trade center in Vegas. By the time I got to school I finally realized what was going on. I remember sitting in class for a few hours just watching this all unfold and could not begin to understand the magnitude of what was happening. I just remember being really scared that this was going to happen every where. Although I was young I remember every second of that day. Talking to our teachers, friends, going home that day from school and just watching the news over and over again. I'm sure everyone saw the planes strike the buildings a hundred times that day. The image will never leave my mind. 10 years later I still pray for the families who lost loved ones that day and continue to pray for the men and women who fight for our country every day.

We have bamboo and it has jumped it's barrier. Armstrong Berger Landscaping suggested that we cut any unwanted shoots down to the ground and then wipe with Roundup. Also, you if you find it's lead, you can cut that off to take it off it's source. It has a growth season in the spring, so if you maintain now, you don't have to do it any other time.

A developer built next to us, and obviously their architect never came to the site, because he designed the house next to us, with all the windows looking into our backyard and pool. Thus, I planted Bamboo and it has been a wonderful wall of privacy but you do have to manage it.

No, the Park Cities People has not to date and will not ever do the “right thing” in the case of Merritt Patterson. The PCP has been continuously and constantly biased toward Merritt. And Merritt’s responses have been snarky, insensitive and sarcastic, at best. For one, I am shocked that people admire her writing skills, blogs, or so called celebrity status….or is that why everyone is fascinated with Charlie Sheen, too?

Here is a link to that same reproductive attorney's blog that discusses some of the holes in the Park Cities People article: http://www.eggdonor.com/blog/2011/02/28/surrogate-parenting-center-texas/
Note that Merritt NEVER answered the question about whether she was going to pay the old judgments against her. Incredibly, the judgments are against HER personally and not just SPCT (her business). Why would she EVER let her Texas corporate charter lapse and why would she EVER allow a default judgment against herself personally? Finally and most importantly, how could she betray the confidence (of course, remember she may still be charged with a crime) of innocent egg donors and people trying to have a child? THIS is the person who the Park Cities People has chosen to write about our community.... My subscription will be cancelled.

It is always important to keep the facts straight. I believe you are referring to the Park Cities People and not the Park Cities News.
