The University Park Police Department is collecting donations of new toys and new clothing to give to children this holiday season.
Park Cities residents are encouraged to help better the lives of children by giving to the police department's annual donation drive from Dec. 1-20 at UP City Hall, which is located at 3800 University Boulevard. The donations will benefit the Genesis Women's Shelter.
All of the toys and clothing must be new, and items are being collected for children of all ages. The donations can be placed in a collection box located in the UP City Hall lobby.
