Highland Park High School Varsity Choirs Kick off Holiday Season
The holidays will be very busy and merry for the Highland Park High School varsity choirs.
In celebration of the holiday season, the Highland Park High School Lads and Lassies performed at the Snider Plaza Tree Lighting on Sunday, November 19th. Future L&L performances will take place at the Jackopierce Christmas Concert at McFarlin on Saturday, December 2nd at 7 p.m. (For ticket info: http://www.ticketdfw.com/whats-on/2017/jackopierce-christmas/) and the Armstrong Tree Lighting on Thursday, December 7th at 7p.m.
In addition, the elite acapella ensemble group, Park Version, will have special holiday performances at Stanley Korshak on December 5th at 4:30 p.m., Northpark on December 8th at 6 p.m. (Northcourt) & 6:30 p.m. (Dillards), Delta Gamma Alum Luncheon on December 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Royal Oaks Country Club and the La Fiesta Holiday Party at the Belo Mansion on December 20th at 6:30 p.m.
Park Version will perform at HPISD campuses: Armstrong Elementary on November 30th at 9:50 a.m., Hyer Elementary on December 1st at 11:30 a.m., Bradfield Elementary on December 15th at 11:00 a.m. and University Park Elementary on December 21st time to be determined. They will be featured in the Jackopierce Christmas Concert too. Other Park Version appearances will be at several private parties and they will perform at the Dallas Arboretum which will be added to the holiday schedule soon.
All HPHS choirs will be performing their Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 14th at 7 p.m. in the HPHS Auditorium. It is an annual event that has become a community favorite! Be sure to catch one of the many fun-filled performances by the various HPHS choirs this holiday season.
Update: The Park Version's holiday performance at the Dallas Arboretum is scheduled for Sunday, December 17th at 7 p.m.
