OCTOBER 2

BURGLARY OF HABITATION

An unknown suspect entered a victim's residence through the back door and took property without permission. The incident occurred in the 4000 block of Amherst Street at approximately 5:45 AM. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE AND FAILURE TO REPORT ACCIDENT 

A suspect entered a victim's vehicle and stole hand tools at approximately 6:11 AM. As the suspect fled from officers in an alley of the 4100 block of Colgate Avenue, the suspect's vehicle struck a gas meter, causing a gas leak. A telephone pole and a fence were also hit within the block. 


OCTOBER 3

BURGLARY OF HABITATION 

A victim states that an unknown person stole her third-row seat from her vehicle between 4:30 PM on September 29 and 8:00 AM on October 3. Her vehicle was parked in the 4300 block of Druid Lane. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

An officer responded to the 3200 block of Caruth Boulevard in regards to a possible burglary of a vehicle. An unknown suspect had entered the vehicle by force and taken property between 9:45 PM the night before and 6:20 AM the next morning. 


OCTOBER 4

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A female resident in the 4300 block of San Carlos Drive fell victim to a phone scam of reportedly not showing up for jury duty and having a warrant issued. The victim lost $3,000 due to the incident. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A large number of tools were taken without permission from the bed of a city truck while it was parked in the 4100 block of Caruth Boulevard. The theft occurred between 11:00 AM on September 29 and 12:00 PM on October 4. 

BURGLARY OF HABITATION 

Police responded to a reported burglary in the 2700 block of Daniel Avenue. The victim stated that some jewelry was taken from her home with no signs of forced entry between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. 


OCTOBER 6 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A vehicle parked on a front drive in the 3700 block of Granada Avenue was broken into. A bicycle was taken without permission from inside. The incident occurred at approximately 3:23 AM. 


OCTOBER 7 

ASSAULT 

An employee was cited for assaulting his manager in the 6400 block of Hillcrest Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 PM. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A bicycle was taken from the front yard of a home in the 4400 block of Bryn Mawr Drive during the night. The theft appears to have occurred between 8:30 PM and 11:00 PM. 


OCTOBER 8

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED 

Police were called to investigate a crash that occurred in the 3100 block of Purdue Street at approximately 4:30 AM. After arriving at the scene, officers arrested the driver for DWI. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A victim stated that a camera and lens were taken from his vehicle while it was parked in the 3600 block of Hanover Street. The theft appears to have occurred between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM on October 5 but was reported on October 8. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At approximately 7:00 PM, an officer was dispatched to a residence in the 3500 block of Colgate Avenue in regards to a reported theft. The officer made contact with the victim, who stated that between 3:00 PM on October 7 and 10:30 AM the next morning, an unknown person took his two boys' bicycles without consent.
