This Fall, dozens of young women from Dallas will be wearing their halos around campus as new members of the Pi Beta Phi international fraternity for women. Top Texas schools, including The University of Texas in Austin, TCU and Texas A&M have a total of twenty-five new members from Dallas. Out of state schools, like Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, the University of Colorado at Boulder and the University of Oklahoma also made a Dallas sweep. Out of the forty-one New Members who pledged Pi Phi this fall, seventeen are legacies.
The Dallas Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club was an active participant in the recruitment process, sending over 275 recommendations to twenty-eight different universities and colleges. So far, forty-one girls (and counting) from Dallas have pledged Pi Beta Phi this fall.
