Snider Plaza The Snider Plaza Holiday Tree Lighting will be hosted from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 20.

The holiday season is drawing near, and Snider Plaza is getting ready to show off its seasonal decorations during a special tree lighting event later this month.

The fifth annual Snider Plaza Holiday Tree Lighting will be hosted from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 20 and will include a variety of attractions that are fun for the whole family.

At this year's event, there will be holiday performances, children's activities, and food and drink vendors at Snider Plaza, according to the city of University Park website. Children will also be able to get their pictures taken with Santa during the holiday festival.

In addition to all of the festivities, attendees will have an opportunity to support the North Texas Food Bank by dropping off non-perishable items that will be given to families in need during the holiday season. The food bank is particularly interested in donations of frozen turkeys, and a large refrigerated truck will be in Snider plaza during the event to collect the food.

So be sure to mark your calendars and get the holiday season started off right by bringing your family out to this community event!
