Tolly: Thank you soooo much for writing this! I was in tears by the end, because while there is no way to describe fully the love that you as a mother have for your child, no matter their differences or behaviors, you come very close in this article! I have a son that has some learning differences and speech development issues, which then manifest into some behavioral issues, too, and it's so exhausting trying to continually make excuses for why he doesn't act "normal". Thank you, thank you, thank you for writing this-- I just hope that enough moms of those "normal" kids read it and, even more importantly, get it.
