Dr. Darrell Bock Speaking at Trinity Fellowship Church and Teaching 3-Week Class

Our world is changing around us. How can the church respond biblically to changing culture and viewpoints? Join us this Sunday, April 30th, starting at 9:30am. Dr. Darrell Bock will be speaking in our service, followed by the first in a 3-week series on these issues at 11:15. Dr. Bock is a respected Bible scholar and author who engages issues of culture extensively. We hope you can join us for this special sermon and class.

'Brave New World' w/ Dr. Darrell Bock…4/30 5/7 5/14...Engagement in our changing world has made new demands on the church and us. This three week series with Dr. Darrell Bock helps us think biblically through the adjustments needed in light of these demands. We’ll also consider how we can engage in discussions where disagreement is the likely starting place.

Dr. Bock is the Executive Director of Cultural Engagement and Senior Research Professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. He has earned recognition as a Humboldt Scholar (Tubingen University in Germany), is the author of over 40 books, including well-regarded commentaries on Luke and Acts and studies of the historical Jesus, and work in cultural engagement as host of the seminary's Table Podcasts. He was president of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) for 2000–2001, is a consulting editor for Christianity Today, and serves on the boards of Wheaton College and Chosen People Ministries. His articles appear in leading publications. He is often an expert for the media on NT issues.
