HP Police Blotter: Two Drawings Stolen From Marquee Grill

Highland Park, Texas (March 5-10)

MARCH 5

Theft
A 29-year-old resident reported that all four tires and rims were stolen off his 2010 Cadillac Escalade while it was parked in the driveway of his residence between 4 p.m. March 4 and 8 a.m. March 5 in the 4600 block of Southern Avenue.

MARCH 6

Vehicle Burglary
A 58-year-old resident reported that someone broke a window to his 2009 Infinity QX56 and stole a bag of Titleist golf clubs, briefcase, notebook computer and a Kindle between 6:30 p.m. March 5 and 7 a.m. March 6 in the 4200 block of Lomo Alto Court.

MARCH 7

Criminal Mischief
A 46-year-old resident reported that someone trimmed the limbs of five Yaupon Holly Trees and two Bradford Pear trees that are in her backyard without permission, causing an estimated $5,000 in damage, between 6 a.m. March 3 and 6 a.m. March 4 in the 4300 block of Beverly Drive.

Theft
A 54-year-old resident reported that a Rolex watch was stolen from her home between July 4, 2011 and July 14, 2011 in the 4300 block of Potomac Avenue.

MARCH 8

Theft
A 43-year-old resident, who is currently staying in Houston because of a family medical situation, reported that someone stole two silver place settings valued at a total of $3,000 from her residence between Oct. 23, 2011 and Dec. 4, 2011 in the 4300 block of Potomac Avenue.

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 61-year-old resident, who lives in the 4400 block of Belclaire Avenue, reported that someone hit her 2007 Audi A6 between 7 p.m. Feb. 25 and 10 a.m. Feb. 26.

MARCH 10

Theft
A 46-year-old resident of Dallas reported that someone stole two drawings that were valued at $1,200 each from the unisex bathroom at Marquee Grill between 9 p.m. and 11:10 p.m. March 9 in Highland Park Shopping Village.

Criminal Mischief

A 37-year-old resident reported that someone damaged the walk-through door of the detached garage at his house, which is currently under construction and unoccupied, by prying it open between 12:01 a.m. March 8 and 11 a.m. March 10 in the 3400 block of Cornell Avenue, but nothing appears to have been stolen.
