HP Tennis players competed at the UIL 4A State Tennis Individual Tournament, held April 28-29, 2014, at Penick-Allison Tennis Center at the University of Texas in Austin.

Day one, Monday, April 28, 11 Scots battled opponents from the great state of Texas in 93 degree heat on the soon to be demolished University of Texas tennis courts. By the end of the day, seven Scots had won spots into the finals.
