This release introduces our new business directory listings showcasing local businesses. With BubbleLife’s free directory listing, a neighborhood business can provide customers with a complete snapshot of their company. It integrates a business profile with customer feedback from both BubbleLife members and from the popular Yelp customer rating website.
The business directory listing is for customers who want exposure on the BubbleLife website directory but who are not using BubbleLife’s Neighborhood Marketing Center. Customers already using the Marketing Center are shown in the directory ranked by their member count for popularity.
Business owners can, at any time, update their directory listing and add photos. Customers can also add their comments and their own photos to the listing. BubbleLife’s unique “Submit by iPhone” feature makes it easy to add photos by simply emailing a photo to the listing’s unique email address.
Business directory listings help a neighborhood business get found by a variety of techniques including:
- Special tagging to help search engines locate the listing
- Share links to make it simple for customers to refer a business to their friends and family
- Website references to improve the business’s organic search engine results
Directory listings are upgradeable to the full version of the Neighborhood Marketing Center adding numerous other features including:
- Business blogging with neighborhood and customer distribution
- Integrated email marketing
- Integrated social media marketing
- Search engine monitoring
- Custom landing pages
For existing Neighborhood Marketing Center customers, our January 2011 also presents a redesigned group management interface that provides a true dashboard for monitoring group activity. In addition, group management improvements include:
- Improved tracking of ads and deals through a new Campaign organization
- Improved login and password tracking
- New Activity tracking for summarizing group activity
Going forward, this release lays the groundwork for some exiting new additions including automated reporting and self-service ad management.
