Last week a client brought in a Dell laptop. The motherboard was bad. Dallas, one of our CT techs, checked the warranty online and verified that the computer was out of warranty by a month or so.
However, Dell gave the option online to extend the warranty for $200.
Even though this seemed too good to be true, Dallas spoke with our client and we gave it a try.
The next day our Dell technician showed up and replaced the motherboard and the laptop is now working perfectly.
Even had replacing the motherboard not resolved the problem, under the warranty terms, Dell would have replaced the computer.
Dell went the extra mile to satisfy a customer. Do you think this customer will buy another Dell? You bet!
