The Park Cities People Newspaper asked its readers to vote on their favorite dry cleaners in the Park Cities and the winner is Avon Cleaners!  Congratulations to the staff at Avon Cleaners for their exceptional service.

In 1968 Avon Cleaners was purchased by Karoly and Pat Godo, and began as a 4-person operation with a single residential route.  The previous owner stayed on for two years and taught Karoly the dry cleaning business.  Together, Pat and Karoly worked successfully to expand the business while providing superior services.

Today, Avon Cleaners remains under the operation of the Godo family and is not only dedicated to being at the forefront of the dry cleaning business, but also an active participant in our local community.   Avon Cleaners has donated it's time and resources to the following local organization and philanthropic efforts:

Since 1988 Michelle and Stacy Godo have supported the Dallas Childrens Theater. As owners of a family run fine dry cleaning and laundry service, they have donated time, financial resources and, vitally, in-kind services of dry cleaning for the Theater's costumes, which are custom created and rented out to the community. Their commitment raises funds in a unique and creative way.
