While millions of fans will watch championship golf  from April 11-14, most are unable to do so from Augusta. Perhaps the second-best place for this golf celebration is the Monument Realty PGA District, which is celebrating "A Taste of Augusta," featuring fan-favorite pimento cheese sandwiches, as well as dishes served in honor of past champions. Live tournament coverage will air on the 900-square-foot video wall all week long, while Ice House, Lounge by Topgolf, and Ryder Cup Grille will be serving up specialty cocktails and snacks for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Other tournament staples, including chicken salad and egg salad sandwiches, will also be available to purchase.

Fans seeking something more filling should head on over to Ice House for the “Scottie Burger,” featuring American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, B&B pickles, mayo, and fries on toasted brioche. Before heading back out to watch the final pairings, grab a bucket of beers to share with your buddies. Those wishing to reserve a hitting bay should call the restaurant at 469-305-4615. All tables at the Ice House are first-come, first-serve.

At Lounge by Topgolf, fans can travel back to 2021, when Japan's Hideki Matsuyama won The Masters, with the “Matsuyama Poke,” featuring arctic salmon, sticky rice, avocado, cucumber, ginger-soy dressing, sriracha kewpie and tobiko. Guests can practice their swing in one of the simulators and even play some of the more famous courses on the PGA Tour. Swing Suites can be reserved by calling the restaurant at 469-305-4630; reservations for tables are also available online at OpenTable.

The most recent champion's dish, the “Rahm Paella,” named for Jon Rahm, can be enjoyed at Ryder Cup Grille during lunch or dinner. Comprised of chorizo-saffron bomba rice, mussels, Gulf shrimp and English peas, this is the perfect dish to dig into after a round on Fields Ranch. Diners are encouraged to pair it with the signature drink of the week, The Azalea, for the ultimate dining experience. Reservations for breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be made online via OpenTable.

After spending the days picking up swing tips and watching the pros drain putts, golfers can try their luck out on The Swing in a “closest to the hole” pin challenge. From Thursday through Sunday, 10 guests will be awarded for hitting their tee shot closest to the flag. One prize per hole will be awarded each day. Guests must register at the Starter Shack prior to teeing off; greens fees not included in contest entry.

PGA Frisco offers amazing activities year-round. Guests can learn about all upcoming events at pgafrisco.com/events or by registering for the Omni PGA Frisco newsletter.
